Hey guys! Happy Tuesday! I hope you all are having a wonderful start to your week, and a great October! I love October and making banana pumpkin pancakes with applesauce seemed like the perfect way to begin the month.
I’m also excited to announce Building Healthy Legacies has partnered with Nomster Chef!
*side note we are not affiliated in any way. Just excited for any program that gets kids cooking!
Nomster Chef is a digital library of recipes for kids! The recipes are fun, easy and simple enough my 3 year could follow along. Today, they are launching their kick starter campaign. To celebrate we tested out their banana pumpkin pancakes. I have to say these babies were super easy and tasted like fall.

My 5 and 3 year old LOVED making these, and they both said they turned out delicious. (I was honestly suprised because the 3 year old isn’t a huge pumpkin fan!)
Here are some pics of us making them and the end result!
My son had the genius idea of cutting them into pumpkin shapes and they turned out so cute and festive! We topped them with plain full fat yogurt and the homemade applesauce and sprinkled on some cinnamon. They were SO good. Not to mention healthy.

Have a wonderful week building healthy legacies family <3
